Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Sleepy Cypress LLC, doing business as Sleepy Cypress Apiary ("we", "us") for the SleepyHivelog app and the sleepycypress.com website. By creating an account or using them, you agree to these terms.

Your account

Keep your password private and your details correct. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the people you add to your operation do. The owner of an operation controls who is on it.

Your records

The records, notes and photos you enter are yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service for you. You promise you have the right to add them, and that they do not break the law or anyone's rights.

Plans and payments

SleepyHivelog has a free plan and paid plans, with the prices and limits shown in the app. Paid plans renew each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the Plan screen; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are taken by Stripe. We may change prices for future periods and will tell you before they apply to you. Refunds are at our discretion unless the law requires otherwise.

Shop orders

Products on sleepycypress.com are sold as described on each product page. Prices, availability and delivery details are confirmed at checkout and in your order email. Raw honey is not for infants under 12 months.

Using the app well

Do not misuse the service: no breaking into it, overloading it, copying it, or using it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Beekeeping decisions are yours

SleepyHivelog is a record-keeping tool. Alerts, thresholds, reminders and suggestions (for example mite counts or the date honey supers can go back on) are only aids. Always follow product labels, local regulations and your own judgment. We are not responsible for decisions made using the app.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, and the app is built to keep working without signal, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose; you can export your records to a spreadsheet from the Stats tab.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, or for losses beyond the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in the app (Comb tab, Account, Delete account) at any time. We may end accounts that break these terms.

Ownership

SleepyHivelog™ and the Sleepy Cypress Apiary name and logo belong to Sleepy Cypress Apiary. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts for Baker County, Florida.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use the service means you accept it. Questions: support@sleepycypress.com.
